Release 17 January 2025

We're happy to announce the first update for 2025 of PentestPortal! In this release, we've addressed several bugs and introduced some minor improvements. Here's a summary of what's new:

Features

• #PP-333 - Support for custom fonts:
  Added the ability to use a custom font in the portal. By default, Google Fonts are supported, but this feature was implemented upon the request of a reseller.

• #PP-330 - Read-only state for finished penetration tests:
  To reduce the risk of accidental changes or errors after a penetration test is marked as finished, tests in the "finished" state are now set to read-only.

Bug Fixes

• #PP-327 - General search bar typo:
  Fixed a spelling error in the general search bar at the top of the screen.

• #PP-314 - Management Portal container dependency fix:
  Resolved a dependency issue affecting the Management Portal container.

• #PP-324 - WAN IP addresses in scope tab:
  Fixed an issue where WAN IP addresses were not displayed in the scope tab when the filter was set to "Extern."

• #PP-329 - Default introduction translations:
  Corrected several spelling errors in the default introduction text translations (GOAL/TEXT).

• #PP-338 - Nmap import hostname issue:
  Resolved an issue where, in rare cases, existing hostnames were overwritten with 'name' during Nmap imports, improving data quality.
